Nitori is a restaurant with a location in Garki, Abuja. Its specialization is client happiness through the provision of wholesome and reasonably priced meals, drinks, pastries, and other food-related products. Additionally, Nitori offers food for private and public events, weddings, and conferences both in and outside of Abuja.
To fill the following positions, we are hiring:
Job Title: Accountant
Location: Abuja
Job Type: Full-Time
Job Roles and Responsibilities
- Is in charge of the restaurant’s general finances and accounting activities
- To ensure the efficient running of the accounting department, support and oversee cashiers.
- Make that the company’s financial policies and procedures are followed. Effectively and under established accounting principles
- Manage the restaurant’s bank and treasury operations and put in place proper financial management systems and procedures to protect the assets and ensure the organization runs smoothly.
- Create important financial procedures, such as financial management and budgeting. Accounting/reporting. Everyday cost accounts. Management reports and analyses published weekly or monthly. Budgeting, as well as quarterly, annual, and variance reporting.
Our Ideal Candidate
- Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree in accounting to be considered.
- 4 years minimum of relevant experience
- Microsoft Word, Excel, and QuickBooks accounting software proficiency should be proven.
- A professional accounting degree will be helpful.
- An added advantage is having operational, cost-management, and control experience with hotels and restaurants.
- Must have extensive knowledge of cost accounting and outstanding practical accounting expertise.
- Must be a team player and have strong organizational and communication abilities, as well as a knowledge of both spoken and written English.
- It would be ideal to have prior restaurant industry experience.
