Researching their client and their client’s place in the business is one of their responsibilities, as is meeting with corporate executives or experts to design improvement plans based on their requirements and to maintain a professional connection with their clients throughout time.
Duties and Responsibility
- Participate actively in GRC projects from consulting to implementation.
- Apply the GRC principles included in various processes.
- Accurately comprehends and documents information systems and processes.
- Consult with clients to understand their needs, then offer them advice.
- Knows how to tie information security rules to engagement requirements.
- Increase client and internal team awareness of GRC.
- In charge of the system-wide information security compliance program, ensure that IT operations, procedures, and processes adhere to established standards, guidelines, and rules.
- Ensure information security, adherence to applicable laws and legal interpretations, and development and implementation of effective and reasonable policies and processes to secure protected and sensitive data.
- Implement a strategy for handling the growing number of audits, compliance checks, and external evaluation processes for internal and external auditors.
Key Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in a field connected to IT.
- Working familiarity with frameworks, standards, and laws, such as PCI, ISO 27001/22301, and VAPT.
- Holding current ISO 27001/22301/CEH certifications.
- It would be advantageous to have ISO 9001, CISA, CISM, or CISSP certifications.
- 3-5 years of experience working in a setting involving information systems, with a solid understanding of IT Governance and Systems Information Security.
