Job Description
- We are searching for a journalist with print media expertise who is a versatile news reporter and can produce material using a range of digital technologies.
- Most significantly, you should be able to create engaging news and feature articles for print media and television.
- You should also be able to record video, edit audio, and create graphics for your stories.
- By doing this, you should be able to integrate conventional reporting with new media techniques.
Job Roles and Responsibilities
- Interviewing people and organizations to learn about their experiences and lives
- Gathering and planning pictures or video for use in storytelling
- Making news articles about politics, business, science, sports, entertainment, and health Researching to find audience-interesting themes that other media may not have recently covered
- Obtaining information for stories via interviewing newsmakers, specialists, and other sources
- Choosing relevant titles and subtitles while writing articles for publications
- Video editing for broadcast or internet use of footage from events or programs
- Obtaining information (news) about breaking stories by conducting research and speaking with sources
- Taking care of a department’s or brand’s social media accounts for a company

Our Ideal Candidate
- Journalism, communications, or a related discipline as a requirement for the bachelor’s degree
- 2–3 years of experience as a professional writer
- Outstanding interviewing, research, and storytelling abilities
- knowledge of social networking sites like Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and Instagram
- knowledge of fundamental picture and video editing programs
- Independent work skills and the capacity to meet deadlines in a hectic workplace.
