Job Description
- The duties of the position do not necessitate frequent interaction with or access to children or teenagers.
- The Finance Intern is in charge of managing the money coming in and going out, uploading authorized invoices and payment vouchers into the aggressor systems, and making sure that the financial records are accurate and adhere to SCI financial policies and procedures.
- He or she will assist the finance division.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Before writing payment vouchers in accordance with SCI financial rules, make sure the necessary supporting documentation and authorization are present.
- Make sure you conduct weekly and monthly cash counts.
- Participants’ payments and other SCI cash payments are made outside of the workplace.
- Cash Reconciliation GLACOS for all field offices as well as the country office
- Writing checks with the appropriate party’s approval
- Observe petty cash
- Maintain and update the manual cash book.
- Maintain optimal cash balances and provide financial advice to budget holders for cash replenishment.
- Maintain orderly filing and simple access to financial records
- Carry out bank-related tasks.
- Authorization of bills in the Aggressor system
- Preparing payment schedules and checks for taxes, NHF, and pensions that will be sent to the tax authorities and the administrators of the various pensions
- Any additional responsibilities delegated by the line manager or supervisor.
Our Ideal Candidate
- A bachelor’s degree in accounting or the equivalent, such as Part 1 of an accredited professional accounting body (such as ICAN, ACCA, CIMA), with experience with computerized accounting systems
- Honesty.
- one year of equivalent experience.
- A capacity for pressure-free work.
- Creates and preserves effective connections with their group, colleagues, members, and outside partners.
- Approachable, attentive, and simple to communicate with, working effectively with stakeholders to reach shared objectives
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
- Designing more effective admin systems
- Willing to take disciplined risks
