Job Description

By managing the accounts business unit and offering financial services, you may support business operations and the organization’s financial stability.

Job Roles and Responsibilities

  • Oversee and plan daily operations in the business unit following operational needs and overarching corporate goals and objectives.
  • Control the approval and processing of departmental budgets, ledgers, and account maintenance and revenue, expenditure, and position controls.
  • Oversee the creation and processing of payment requests and bills.
  • Liaison with clients, financial institutions, tax authorities, and other pertinent external parties on concerns pertaining to money.
  • Control the upkeep of the fixed asset registry.
  • Organize the accounts team’s preparation of reports and financial statements.
  • Financial report preparation and analysis for top management.
  • Forecasting, performance reporting, and preparing the budget.
  • Creating and putting into effect accounting policies and procedures.
  • Coordination of accountants’ activities across numerous business locations.
  • Provide top management with financial advice regarding operating procedures, planning, and other financial-related matters.

Our Ideal Candidate

  • A B.Sc.,, at the very least, in Accounting.
  • a minimum of five years of experience in a comparable position.
  • An advantage is having prior experience in the administration or provision of facilities.
  • ACCA or ICAN accreditation
  • Good working familiarity with IFRS guidelines.
  • Knowledge on how to utilize accounting software.
  • Mastery of the Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel.
  • Working familiarity with local statutes, laws, and ordinances
  • Strong analytical and mathematical abilities.
  • Good skills in presentation, communication, and interpersonal relations.

N300,000 – N400,000 / month.
