Job Title: Pay Roll Officer
Job Location: Abuja
Job Type: Full Time
Job Roles and Responsibilities
- Take timesheets that are daily, weekly, or monthly.
- Calculate the allowances and bonuses.
- Utilize payroll software to prepare employee compensation by the end of each month.
- Organize bank transfers or give employees their salaries in person
- Distribute payment statements and compile attestation documents (digital or paper)
- Describe your payroll costs.
- Ensure that tax deductions and wages practices comply with to the rules.
- Fill up internal databases with information on new hires, such as bank accounts and tax identification numbers.
- Respond to inquiries regarding pay, benefits, taxes, and insurance deductions.

Our Ideal Candidate
- Work history as a Payroll Officer, Payroll Clerk, or in a similar position.
- Practical knowledge of HRIS and accounting software
- Strong math abilities and the capacity to recognize arithmetic mistakes
- Good understanding of labor laws
- Aptitude for managing time
- The capacity to manage sensitive information
- Bachelor of Science in Accounting, Human Resources, or a related discipline.
