Job Description

  • The Dashboard Developer will carry out all routine BI tasks, such as converting business requirements into technical requirements, connecting to data sources using PowerShell and REST APIs, and locating and creating dashboards and reports that address the particular issues of clients and support effective decision-making.
  • He or she should be able to operate freely and with little to no supervision remotely while ensuring that data is presented understandably.

Responsibilities

  • Uses data sources, including operational data, employee performance data, customer satisfaction data, etc. to extract, consolidate, analyze, and produce reports and dashboards.
  • Datasets used in dashboards and reports are reviewed and cleaned.
  • Reviews and recommends new metrics for analysis and presentation.
  • Educating end users about new dashboards and reports.
  • Employing business intelligence technologies, creates visual reports, dashboards, and KPI scorecards (such as Power BI and Tableau)
  • Connects to data sources, imports data, and transforms data for Business Intelligence.
  • Creates and maintains organizational dashboards.
  • Participates in the production of reports for external reporting.
  • Serves as a resource for the organization and a subject matter expert for dashboard development and data analysis tools.

YOU WILL ALSO LIKE:

Our Ideal Candidate

  • Computer science, economics, statistics, or other pertinent discipline is necessary.
  • At least one year of expertise with Power BI, SQL, Tableau, etc., in data analysis
  • An advantage is knowing statistical methodologies.
  • The capacity to work both independently and collaboratively.
  • A track record of developing sophisticated data dashboards and reports.
  • The ability to present well is essential.
  • Excellent communication abilities in writing, speaking, statistics, and graphics.
  • Data cleansing and advanced Excel abilities are needed.
  • Strong storyteller, quick learner, and high attention to detail.
  • Individual who is resourceful, curious, and motivated.
