About World Best School Prizes
Applications for the 2023 World Best School Prizes are now being accepted. The World Best School Prizes honor and shares the knowledge of schools that genuinely improve their communities while also impacting the next generation’s lives. They acknowledge the huge contribution that education makes to society’s advancement, especially in the wake of COVID.
A project of BVU Ventures Ltd, doing business as T4 Education, the World Best School Prizes were created with the intention of recognizing excellence in schools through a prize competition structure.
Schools with expertise in five major categories are given the World Best School Prizes. Outstanding systems, practices, and performance influencing the lives of their students and the community as a whole will be displayed by winning schools.
Competition Categories
- Community Collaboration: This Award honors educational institutions that have partnered with their local community and worked together to satisfy the needs of both the local community and the pupils.
- Environmental Action: This Award acknowledges the value of educational institutions, students, and teachers in promoting environmental causes and enacting change.
- Innovation: This award honors pedagogies and technological innovations that positively influence and enhance teaching and learning.
- Overcoming Adversity: This Award honors educational institutions that, despite overwhelming obstacles, have managed to promote and advance students’ learning and general well-being.
- Supporting Healthy Lives: This Award honors educational institutions that go above and beyond to promote the physical and mental well-being of their students as well as their development of wholesome behaviors, attitudes, knowledge, and abilities.
Benefits/Prizes
- They will distribute a portion of the $250,000 total prize money to the five winning colleges. $50,000 will be awarded to each winner to further their efforts in enhancing their school and community.
Eligibility Criteria
- Open to all schools that legally register with their national Ministry of Education or government regulating authority and instruct students in obligatory schooling, including early childhood centers, kindergartens, and primary, secondary, and virtual schools.
- The only people who can register to submit an application are Teachers or Principals who are currently employed, and in charge of the school, they are enrolling in the Prizes.
- Before applying, the applicant must register.
- Additionally, they need to be at least 18 years old and have permission from the governing body or administration of the institution to submit the form.
Application Process
- The school administration must approve all applications before they can be submitted.
- Before the deadline of March 15, 2023, the application forms must be turned in.
- By just authenticating into your account, the application can be stored as a draft to continue amending at a later time.
- A school may submit applications for more than one category, but each category’s application must be submitted using a different application form.
- Once the application has been submitted, the applicant will receive a badge to download, a confirmation message, and an email.
