Job Description
Be a part of the design, planning, and optimization of the core network, systems, and platforms of EMTS’ packet-switching components.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Contribute to the supply of packet switching network capacity for all GSM/UMTS networks.
- Knowledge of the Network Virtualization Architecture in relation to PS core nodes and multi-vendor environment management.
- Utilizing Excel’s capability, perform traffic forecasting with the available data to determine the anticipated traffic requirement.
- Will take the lead in deploying 5G and VOTE
- Will ensure the best use of resources, and assist in the deployment and execution of packet switching network components.
- help in creating the specifications for the management and capacity planning of services on the prepaid and intelligent network.
- Conduct technical research on topics like new hardware types, new design techniques, and the effects of new technologies that are important to packet switching network architecture and performance (UMTS, LTE, IoT, NFV, IPv6 etc.)
- Give pertinent information to help determine where to deploy packet switches and other network components.
- Excellent PowerPoint presentation skills
- To guarantee coordination between the many departmental functions, manage inter-functional relationships.
- Conduct technical research on packet switching network architecture
- To serve as the foundation for PS core network capacity planning, collect, analyze, and present network KPIs.
- Implement fast wins to handle unexpected network congestion brought on by promotional campaigns.
- Carry out any additional tasks that the Manager, PS Core, assigns.
Our Ideal Candidate
- First degree in electrical engineering or a comparable field
- Four (4) years at least of related experience.
